Formula 7

In the 21st century, one must be able to rapidly and proficiently pull from a matrix of styles to be an effective fighter.  To say that one is only a practitioner of jiu-jitsu alone would be to limit ones insight into the kickboxing range.  To say that one is only a practitioner of kick boxing, is to ignore the grappling range.  Thus, one has created the mixed martial arts game to fill that void.  However, to say that one practices mixed martial arts alone is to ignore the weapons range and worse yet, the violence of the street fight. Dux Ryu Cain Family Martial Science (CFMS) or Ninjute Kempo is a matrix of all ranges based off concepts and strategies and the fighting methods of Dux Ryu ninjutsu, jiu-jitsu, empty hand and kempo.  This system forms what I consider the void-filling and complete system of defensive and offensive survival skills.

What makes Dux Ryu/CFMS different from other forms of reality based martial arts?  Integration makes it different! The integration concept is what creates freedom in Dux Ryu/ CFMS.  Integration is built on the concept of matrix travel.  It is the quantum leap of techniques.  As we travel the matrix from one stratagy and tactic to another, we formulate the correct answer to the problem at hand.  Instead of expecting a certain outcome, the Dux Ryu/CFMS practitioner, adapts to the circumstances at hand.  Anything other than matrix travel and quantum leaping of the matrix is what I call fight assumptions.  Fight assumptions are set techniques or attacks that create set responses.  The fight assumptions are nothing more than an illusion.  However, if you tap into a limitless combination of basic principles, you are free to actively counter attacks.  Much like a boxer or a wrestler, Dux Ryu/CFMS drills the basics of the system.  The formulation of success is seven steps in thinking in 3’s.  Without this formulation, we would merely have a self defense system, not a martial science.  Formula seven is broken down in the following manner:

1.       create the unguarded moment

2.       attack, attack, attack

3.       take down your opponent

4.        finish your opponent

5.        attack, attack, attack

6.       finish your opponent again

7.       escape

When performing formula seven, we must also think in combinations of three attacks at a time.  It is the chaos principle of continuous movement that executes formula seven while quantum leaping within the matrix.  This is a high concept of Dux Ryu/ CFMS.  All this must work in conjunction with the OODA loop; otherwise it is a wasteful movement and violates the concept of simple, direct and vicious.  The primary axiom is to capture the opponents triangle of force, by using MESH and the angles of evasion, while protecting your own six gates from any one of the twelve angels of attack, thus creating openings in one or more of the opponents gates. When one adheres to this axiom, with the formula seven, matrix travel and the quantum leaping theory one will overwhelm their opponent.

Power Equation

Weight X Mass X Speed = Power.  This equation is the basics of all Dux Ryu/CFMS striking principles.  This can be explored by looking at the round house kick versus the Muay Thai kick.  In the basic round kick, one has no mass behind the kick.  It applies the principle of centrifugal force to create speed and a piercing impact.  A Muay Thai kick swings with the whole body with weight X mass X speed to create a powerful kick.  Keep this in mind when practicing striking or kicking, having the proper body alignment to create this equation is crucial.  If one wants a devastating attack while using the basic axiom, formula 7 and the matrix quantum leap principle, then following the power equation only makes sense.  Take a look at the power stance and you will see the alignment of the body.  The power stance facilitates the structure to apply this equation.  In conclusion, in order to call Dux Ryu/CFMS science, we must always build on the empirical, not assumptions.  When a theory is disproved, it is disregarded.  Only facts are allowed in science and one must always strive to understand the truth and the truth will always be based in function not fashion.
